A typical
consultancy package would provide the following:
- supporting Trustees and
senior management teams develop a strategic approach to quality and
best value and in communicating this to the rest of the organisation
- facilitating implementation
teams develop practical quality manuals that are user-friendly, appropriate
and flexible. This covers the writing of service standards, policies,
procedures and guidelines, and checking these out on the ground
- document control procedures
- meeting the requirements
of external inspection and/or accreditation systems e.g. Local Authority
Inspections, ISO 9001 (2000), Investors in People, NVQ Programmes, Quality
Mark, QUADS and supporting people.
- Providing training and
support for staff working at the sharp end to help them make use of
the quality system as a working tool to support them in providing quality
services
- Supporting the rollout
and implementation systems through quality launch programmes, and the
provision of an internal auditor/assessor programme for non-management
staff and volunteers
